The Dublin International Film Festival is finally here. It will begin on February 2nd up until March 2nd. The Dublin International Film Festival, also known as DIFF, is Ireland’s premier film event. The tickets range from different prices depending on what bundle you wish to purchase. For a 6 ticket bundle it is €55, for a 12 ticket bundle it is €115 and a season pass for 2024 is €250.

The festival has different event locations such as Irish Film Institute, Light House Cinema, The Complex Gallery & Studios, The Circular & The Other Hand Bar and The Pavillion Theatre.

It brings the global cinematic experience to Ireland while also showcasing the beauty of Ireland to the rest of the world. With a rich history spanning numerous decades, the Dublin International Film Festival (DIFF) presents a diverse array of films, organises industry events, and nurtures a thriving film culture in Dublin.

History

Throughout its 22-year history, DIFF has featured screenings of over 1,600 international films hailing from more than 52 countries. The festival has welcomed over 600 esteemed guests, including iconic figures such as Al Pacino, Angela Lansbury, Brendan Gleeson, Daniel Day-Lewis, Danny DeVito, Ennio Morricone, Joss Whedon, Julie Andrews, Kristin Scott Thomas, Stanley Tucci, and Stellan Skarsgård.

The Dublin International Film Festival has both the stars in the actors and the producers come to the film viewings which adds such an interesting element.
